Health Promotion Minor

Health Promotion Minor

Students in this minor believe that health and wellness should be accessible to everyone—and are just as passionate about making it happen.

In this track, you will analyze the sociocultural root causes of health disparities and inequalities that lead to differences in health outcomes across populations. From this knowledge base, you will then begin to create and evaluate health promotion programs. Our curriculum provides numerous experiential learning opportunities through the classroom, internships, and beyond.

This minor pairs well with Saint Mary’s justice and social wellness-focused programs, like Sociology, Justice, Community & Leadership, and Global & Regional Studies.
