Sport Studies Minor

 

As a Sport Studies minor, you will examine the whole person across the lifespan in the domains of health, sport, and physical activity.

Our faculty will prepare you for a meaningful professional and personal life after Saint Mary's College, equipping you to pursue your unique aspirations. You will become conversant in our field's classic and contemporary scholarly literature and have the opportunity to take courses in sports history, biomechanics, athletic facility management, sports law, and much more. Above all, our curriculum emphasizes respect for differences and focuses on holistic health.

Our faculty and staff consider and treat each student as an equal in our community of learners. The traditions of the College are reflected in our small interactive classes, attention to individual student needs, internship placements, careful academic and career advising, and a commitment to the development of responsible independent thought.
