Nurses Week Celebration
May 6, 2026 | 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Saint Mary's College Soda Center
On behalf of the BSN Nursing Program at Saint Mary’s College of California, it is our sincere honor to invite you to participate in our Inaugural Nurses Week Celebration, a milestone moment for our program and our community.
This year’s theme — Rooted. Rising. Redefining. — was thoughtfully designed to reflect the full arc of our nursing community.
·
Rising
Rising speaks to the leadership pipeline — the voices shaping the future of our profession through policy, advocacy, and executive leadership, including the California Association of Nurse Leaders (ACNL) and the California Association for Nurse Practitioners (CANP).
Redefining
Redefining speaks to the reimagination of nursing identity and practice — grounded in Dr. Maria W. O’Rourke’s Professional Role Identity Formation Theory and brought to life through the innovative curriculum and program model we are building at Saint Mary’s.
