• Leslie Angelsey (Writing Studies) presented her paper “Cripping the WPA Narrative: Mental Health, Neurodiversity, and the Labor of De-Composition,” at the Council of Writing Program Administrators Conference held at the University of Wyoming July 23-25, 2026.
• Zeynep Atalay (Sociology) presented a paper, “Organizing Anti-Gender Politics Through State–Civil Society Alliances in Turkey,” at the International Society for Third Sector Research 17th International Conference July 14-17, 2026 in Lisbon, Portugal. This project is part of her ongoing research on civil society, NGOs, and state power.

• Rogelio Lopez Garcia (Dance), Rogelio Lopez and Dancers Dance Company produced, choreographed, designed, and performed a full evening show entitled "Mucho Machismo y Pocos Machos" at Dance Mission Theater in San Francisco September 18-20, 2026.
• Dana Herrera (Anthropology) co-presented an academic paper at the 2026 Spring Conference of the American Ethnological Society at the University of Victoria, in British Columbia May 1-3, 2026. “Globetrotting in Place: Case Studies in Pedagogy and Tourism” offers examples of how anthropologists utilize digital games tourism as a social science education teaching tool. 
• Charles Hilken (History) presented his paper on Benedictine monastic history, "Piety is Not Enough: The Communitarian Aspect of Suffrages," at the 61st International Congress on Medieval Studies, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, May 15, 2026.
• Helga Lenart-Cheng (World Languages & Cultures) presented her paper, “Platformed Kinship: DNA Testing, Podcasting, and the Mediation of Family Secrets,” at the 41st conference of the International Society for the Study of Narrative, a leading international conference in narrative theory and interdisciplinary narrative studies,  on June 4-6. 2026 in Aarhus University, Denmark.

• Lino Rivera (Music) performed and coached students at concerts for the Music and More Music Festival in Trebinje, August 1-14, 2026 in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
• Myrna Santiago (History) presented her work on mentoring and pedagogy at the Western Women Historians Association Conference in Sacramento on April 23-25, 2026.
