After Winning West Coast Conference Baseball Championship, Saint Mary’s Selected to the Corvallis Regional as Four Seed in NCAA Tournament. Saint Mary's is the only Bay Area team in the national tournament. The Gaels take on Oregon State on May 30 in Corvallis.
The double elimination format of the regional starts on Friday, with two opening games. Saint Mary's (35–24) will take on Oregon State (41-12-1) in the night cap on Friday, May 30, at 5 p.m. Pacific with the game streamed live on ESPN+.
Earlier in the day, No. 2 TCU (39–18) faces No. 3 USC (35–21), with first pitch set for noon. The game will be broadcast on ESPNU.
The winners of Friday’s games will advance to the winners' side of the bracket, and the losers will meet Saturday for an elimination game, mirroring the conference tournament format.
