Dance Graduate Certificate Dance Management

Our MFA program also offers certificates for students who are interested in broadening their scope of expertise to satisfy their own intellectual curiosity as well as make themselves more marketable.

Certificate in Dance Management

To complete this certificate, students must have an undergraduate degree and complete the following graduate coursework (15 units total):

• DANCE-541 Dance Production Management (3 units)
• DANCE-640 Dance Stage Management (3 units)
• DANCE-642 Producing (3 units)
• DANCE-661 Digital Dance (3 units)
• DANCE-694 Production Practicum (3 units)

Some courses can be filled by the degree required electives and production requirements. Students will take courses in a variety of modalities, including in person, online, and as Independent Studies. Students can complete one or both certificates while working towards the MFA.
