Survey policies and procedures

There are no strict policies regulating the use of surveys at St. Mary's College. However, for some general recommendations about survey use and deployment, please reference the Survey Guidelines document. 

For anyone who is relatively new to the survey process, we have created a Survey Development Guide to help lead you through some basic steps in survey creation and deployment. 

Institutional survey schedule

The Office of Institutional Research maintains a schedule of major surveys that are scheduled for future deployment. If you are planning to conduct an institution-wide survey, please let us know so that you can most effectively plan the timing of your survey. If multiple surveys are being distributed to the same population at the same time, the response rate will typically be lower for all surveys. 

Please note that the survey schedule is a work in progress. If you have any surveys planned that we can add to the schedule, or any changes to the existing schedule, please contact the Office of Institutional Research.
