Institutional and Educational Effectiveness
MISSION
The Institutional and Educational Effectiveness Division (IEE) at Saint Mary’s College of California supports the College’s liberal arts, Lasallian, and Catholic mission through integrated institutional and educational effectiveness efforts. Institutional Effectiveness is led by the Director of Institutional Research, and Educational Effectiveness is led by the Associate Vice Provost for Educational Effectiveness (AVP-EE).
Institutional Effectiveness advances data-informed, equity-minded decision-making through institutional research, analytics, and reporting in support of strategic planning and institutional priorities. Educational Effectiveness leads the assessment of student learning and program review processes to ensure the quality and coherence of the College’s academic programs.
Together, the IEE Division supports WSCUC and professional accreditation, oversees state authorization compliance, and manages federal data reporting, advancing institutional excellence, continuous improvement, and strategic planning.
