MISSION

The Office of Institutional Research (OIR) prides itself on serving the mission of Saint Mary's College in support of the colleges strategic and institutional planning, decision making, and policy formulation. 

OIR will provide the Saint Mary's community with valid, timely data and information to support institutional effectiveness, enrollment management, outcomes assessment, accreditation, and ultimately, the success of Saint Mary's students.

OIR regularly collects basic information about our students, staff, faculty and administration for internal and external reporting purposes. We are required annually to provide data for the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS). 

Our official campus data can be found in our SMC Fact Book available only to the SMC community. Like most Colleges we also submit to the Common Data Set which is available to all.
