The Saint Mary's Economics Minor is an excellent complement to majors like politics, history, mathematics, accounting, and business administration. We’ll equip you with a core of economic theory and a sampling of the many fields of economics.
Bachelor of Science
The Bachelor of Science is a quantitative oriented program requiring one year of calculus and one year of upper division quantitative analysis. The Economics Department offers three Bachelor of Science Degrees: Economics, BS (General), Economics: International and Development Concentration, BS, and Economics: Sustainability Concentration, BS.
Bachelor of Arts
The Economics, BA is a social science oriented program that is ideal if you are
planning professional studies or careers in law, teaching, business, or in the public / non-profit sectors.
In addition to need and merit-based scholarships, incoming students are eligible for the Accounting and Business Administration Scholarship, totaling up to $13,000 per year.
