Women's and Gender Studies Program

For the past three decades, our department has invited students and faculty to question all suppositions, givens, and assumptions about the ideas and notions surrounding gender and sexuality.
Drawing on Saint Mary’s traditions of critical thinking and social justice, we ask the community to imagine what an inclusive and just society might look like, engaging everyone in making the ideal of equality and social justice a reality.
With our small interactive classes, well-respected faculty, and careful academic and career advising, you will leave this program well-equipped to make an impact in any field you choose. We are here to help make your aspirations a reality.
