Faculty Development provides resources and programs to faculty to promote excellence in teaching, learning and scholarship. We seek to foster a spirit of cooperation and encourage dialogue and humility about the complexities and challenges of teaching and advancing our research. We offer resources and programming throughout the year, to support faculty members - at various stages of their academic career - to achieve their professional and scholarly goals.

Back to the Museum Open House & Preview Tour for Faculty & Staff

Faculty Development and the Museum of Art invite you to a Back to the Museum preview of the upcoming fall exhibitions on Thursday, August 31 from 10 - 11:30 a.m. The 90 minute gathering will feature light refreshments, a behind-the-scenes tour, and a chance to collaborate with fellow faculty and staff integrating the exhibits into their classes and programming this fall.

We will discuss different opportunities to bring your students to the museum. A brief workshop will feature resources for planning a visit with students, tools to facilitate student discussions and best practices to integrate these resources into your upcoming classes and programming. We look forward to vibrant collaborations this semester and need your participation to make that happen.

Don't miss your chance to see the exhibits before they open, please RSVP by Tuesday, August 29.
