Admission requirements
The Master of Arts in Teaching program requires the following for admission:
- A baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education
- One official copy of transcripts from all colleges or universities attended. Mail official transcripts to KSOE, PMB 4350, Moraga, CA 94575-4350.
- Three letters of recommendation from professionals who can evaluate your potential to carry out graduate work
- Statement of professional goals and resume included with your application
- Evidence of health insurance or a signed waiver
- Interview with Program Director
- Application and fee

Master of Arts in Teaching has a Summer Term start. Applications are accepted year round however priority deadlines must be met to be considered for scholarships.
Foreign transcripts and International students
Individuals who have completed college or university course work at an institution in a country other than the United States must obtain a complete evaluation of foreign transcripts, degrees, and other relevant documents by one of the approved CTC organizations for admittance into the program. International students have additional admission requirements.
Financial Aid
Managing your finances is as important as managing your program of study. Contact the Financial Aid Office to learn about your financial aid options and how to offset the cost of tuition.
