Women's and Gender Studies Program

Body

For the past three decades, our department has invited students and faculty to question all suppositions, givens, and assumptions about the ideas and notions surrounding gender and sexuality.

Drawing on Saint Mary’s traditions of critical thinking and social justice, we ask the community to imagine what an inclusive and just society might look like, engaging everyone in making the ideal of equality and social justice a reality.

With our small classes, exceptional faculty, and careful academic and career advising, students graduate from WaGS equipped to make a positive impact in any field and career. WaGS makes your aspirations a reality.
