Women's and Gender Studies Program

Body

For the past three decades, our program has invited students to interrogate assumptions and ideas about women, gender, and sexuality.

Drawing on Saint Mary’s traditions of critical thinking and commitment to social justice, we invite the community to theorize and imagine what an inclusive and just society might look like, as we practice turning the aspirations of equality, equity, and social justice into reality in our daily lives.

With our small classes, exceptional faculty, and thoughtful academic and career advising, WaGS truly transforms lives and equips students to make a positive impact in any field and career.
