Family Weekend is a time for families to reconnect with their students, other Saint Mary's families, faculty, and staff. We encourage you to take advantage of your time on campus: hike to the cross, visit the Museum of Art, or hang out in the quad!
WHEN IS THE NEXT FAMILY WEEKEND?
Family Weekend generally takes place a month after students have started fall semester courses. Family Weekend 2023 will take place Oct. 6-8, 2023. Please find the full schedule below.

2023 Family Weekend Schedule
1pm-5pm - Family Resource Table Open, Ferroggiaro Quad
Stop by to pick up some swag and a schedule for the weekend!
1pm - Feel Good Friday + Food Truck, Intercultural Center
Grab some food from our Friday Food Truck, Yummi BBQ, and check out Feel Good Friday at the Intercultural Center
1:30pm - Student Recital, SMC Chapel
5pm - Library Escape Room
Test your skills and see if you can escape in time! Click here to RSVP for the Escape Room
6pm - Dinner with Your Student
Dine on campus at one of our retail locations or take your student to a local restaurant
7-10pm - Oktoberfest Sponsored by Campus Activities Board, Gael Force and Residence Hall Association, 1928 Pub
Enjoy traditional Oktoberfest snacks and the chance to win a custom beer stein. Participants of all ages are welcome; must be 21+ to consume alcohol.
9am-1pm - Saint Mary's Bookstore Open
Grab some Gael gear at the Bookstore!
10am-4pm - Saint Mary's Art Museum Open
Throughout the day, take time to explore the Art Museum and its newest exhibits.
10am-1pm - Family Resource Table, Chapel Lawn

2-4pm - School of Science Summer Research Program: Student Poster Session, Brousseau Hall
Learn about the amazing research being done by students in the School of Science! Students who participated in the Summer Research Program will present their research findings in a poster session. Talk to researchers and their mentors, learn about the science, and hear about the Summer Research Program.
2:30pm - Family, Food and Fun, Hagerty Lounge, De la Salle Hall
