2025 Family Weekend: October 3–5
We are excited to invite you to Family Weekend at SMC, a special opportunity to visit campus, connect with your student, and experience life at Saint Mary's College of California firsthand. This year’s Family Weekend will take place from FridayOctober 3- Sunday, October 5, and we have a great lineup of events, activities, and gatherings planned for you.
Whether it's your first time on campus or a return visit, we look forward to welcoming you into our community and celebrating the important role you play in your student’s college journey.

Come by the check in table to receive a schedule of events, map, coupons for on and off food, and SMC swag

Schedule:
- 12-2:00pm: Fair Trade Fridays - in the SMC Mission & Ministry Center
- Come for a free cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate, and learn how supporting Fair Trade aligns with our Saint Mary's mission and values.
- 3:00pm: "Works in Progress" Musical - SMC Chapel
- Student "Works-in-Progress" musical recital in the Chapel on Oct. 3 1:30-2:30pm. Check out stmarys-ca.edu/box-office for more info as we get closer to the recital date.
- Time TBD: Intnational Film Festival Opening Night
- 4:00-6:00pm: Library Escape Room - SMC Library
- Put your problem-solving skills to the test in our fast-paced Escape the Library experience! Work together as a family to solve clues, unlock puzzles, and race against the clock to escape. Designed for all ages, this fun and interactive escape room takes place in the SMC Library. Can you crack the code before time runs out?
- 6:00-8:00: Oktoberfest - SMC Pub
- All are welcome to attend Oktobergest in the SMC Pub. Come enjoy delicious food and beverages
