College Archives

Saint Mary's College of California, Brickpile Campus
The Saint Mary's College Archives exist to collect, preserve, and provide access to materials related to the history of the College and our shared Lasallian heritage.

The College Archives are a part of the Saint Mary’s College Library and serves as the final repository for the historical records of Saint Mary’s College of California. The mission of Saint Mary’s College Library is to support and enable intellectual discovery, knowledge creation and dissemination, academic learning and research, and dedication to the College’s three core commitments: the liberal arts tradition, our Catholic identity and our founding Lasallian heritage. The College Archives supports this mission by collecting, arranging, preserving, and making available records of enduring historical value created or used by the Saint Mary’s College community.

The College Archives collections span from the 1863 creation of the College on Mission Street in San Francisco to the Oakland Brickpile campus and the College's home on the beautiful Moraga campus.
