About Delphine Lounge

The first floor, known as Delphine Lounge, may be reserved for meetings and events except during the Intercultural Center's hours of operation (Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).

The second floor functions as the IC office and may not be reserved. There is a balcony available for SMC community members to use during IC office hours. If you have any questions regarding these guidelines, please contact the IC Assistant Director at (925) 631-8545.

IC Café

From 10:00am to 3:00pm weekdays the IC hosts "IC Café", with different snacks and amentities to help students study or relax. There are different choices of food to grab and drinks to make, including coffee and tea, all for free. Students are welcome to use the fridge (temporarily) as well as the microwave, toaster, and kettle.

The Intercultural Center is also home to two Mac desktops downstairs that are connected to a printer. The computers are always avalible for student use with 10 pages of free black and white printing as well.

Other services the Intercultural Center provides are our two downstairs bookshelves. One, painted with a rainbow, offers an array of LGBTQIA+ literature, and another offers different social justice books from across disciplines and cultures.

On top of the social justice bookshelf is a small ammount of school supplies avalible for students just in case, including glue sticks, sticky notes, staples, a hole punch, and different markers and colored pencils.
