With a degree or credential from the Kalmanovitz School of Education, you will become part of an exclusive club of the most well-respected educators, counselors, forensic psychologists, and leaders in the state. Sandy Preto
Director of Admissions and Marketing
Sandy Preto brings more than 20 years of experience in employee development, strategic recruitment, and marketing to her role as KSOE's Director of Admissions and Marketing. She holds a BA in Economics and Rhetoric and Communication from UC Davis and is passionate about connecting adult learners with graduate programs that transform their careers and lives. A longtime Moraga resident who raised her three children in the community, Sandy has deep connections to local education and community service. She is dedicated to a student-centered admissions experience, meeting every prospective student where they are and guiding them with personalized support from first inquiry through enrollment. Sandy is inspired daily by KSOE's Lasallian values of inclusive community, respect for all persons, and social justice, and by the supportive cohort community that makes Saint Mary's such a distinctive place to learn and grow.
Adriana Cunningham
Admissions Counselor
With a background in public relations, marketing, and communications, Adriana Cunningham has built her career around connecting with people and sharing meaningful stories. Those experiences shaped her passion for building relationships and supporting others as they navigate important decisions. As an Admissions Counselor at Saint Mary's College, Adriana enjoys guiding prospective students through the admissions process and helping them discover how KSOE's graduate programs can support their career aspirations. She feels fortunate to be part of the Saint Mary's community and enjoys sharing the beautiful campus environment and experiences that make it so special.
Caylee Lyman
Admissions Counselor
With experience in both teaching and higher education admissions, Caylee Lyman has built her career around helping students take meaningful steps toward their academic goals. After earning her BA in English with a minor in Creative Writing from UC Berkeley, she lived and worked in Spain as an English teacher, an experience that deepened her love of language, culture, and connection. Upon returning to the US, Caylee began working in international college admissions, where she found real joy in empowering students to start on the path toward achieving their dreams. As a first generation college student, she brings an equity lens to her outreach and is passionate about making education accessible to all. KSOE's Lasallian commitment to social justice and inclusive community resonates deeply with Caylee, and she is dedicated to giving every prospective student the personalized guidance and encouragement to find their place at Saint Mary's.
Shannon Mauldin M.A., M.F.A.
Undergraduate Pathways Manager
Shannon Mauldin, M.A., M.F.A., is a higher education leader, educator, recruiter, and storyteller with more than a decade of experience advancing student success through strategic partnerships, enrollment management, and innovative programming. She holds a Master of Arts in Leadership and Organizational Change and a Master of Fine Arts in Screenwriting, bringing together organizational leadership, creative communication, and strategic thinking to drive meaningful impact. As a proud Saint Mary's College of California alumna and former women's basketball student athlete, Shannon embodies the College's Lasallian values of faith, service, community, and social justice in every interaction. Her deep institutional knowledge, combined with her passion for relationship building, has enabled her to cultivate strong partnerships with K–12 school districts, community colleges, and university stakeholders. She is known for creating innovative pathways that expand educational access, strengthen enrollment, and empower students to achieve their academic and professional goals.
