Center for Writing Across the Curriculum (CWAC)

Body

The Center for Writing Across the Curriculum (CWAC) is located in De La Salle Hall 110 and serves all students, staff, and faculty in the Saint Mary's community.

Mission

At the Center for Writing Across the Curriculum (CWAC), we offer guidance and resources to enhance the writing of a global community of learners at Saint Mary's College of California. Inspired by the Lasallian tradition of service through education, we meet writers where they are, lead thoughtful conversations, and provide encouragement in an inclusive and productive space.

CWAC is a free resource for students in all disciplines at any stage of the writing process. Writing Advisers are available for drop-in writing sessions or by appointment during business hours.

For inquiries about CWAC, please email us at waccenter@stmarys-ca.edu

Who are we?

What is a Writing Adviser?  Well, here at CWAC, we’re no different from you. We are busy students who just happen to have a passion for writing. We’re here to help because we know what you’re going through. We’re here to collaborate— to produce not only better writing but also better writers. Come create with us!

Student Resources

Writing Advisers facilitate individual or group peer-to-peer advising sessions for undergraduate and graduate students. We also have a wide range of writing resources available on campus and online. Click the buttons on the right for more information.
