How do you welcome and support new members of your community?

There are classes as well as many staff members who gladly have one on one conversations with new members. Kathy Timpte in particular has a budget to buy college students coffee or lunch and talk.

How has your house/place of worship adapted to changes in society while maintaining its traditions?

Queer inclusion is a good example: our church was not an inclusive church 10 years ago. However the staff have strongly led the way to educate congregation members that felt nervous about being inclusive, and slowly the church has almost entirely come on board to the staff's vision of being a truly welcoming and inclusive space.

How do you welcome and support new members of your community?

Anyone and everyone are welcome to join our community. We love giving first time visitors a gift for joining us, and strive to connect them and their family as best we can into any of our groups or programs. We have a "Next Steps" membership class that walks new members through who we are as a church and what does it mean to be a part of a church community.

How has your house/place of worship adapted to changes in society while maintaining its traditions?

We are open to any and all faith backgrounds for anyone that desires to attend church. We offer a class called "Alpha" that allows people to discuss any and all questions about God, the Bible, and what it means for each and every religion.
