How Do I Apply?
To learn more about the School of Science Summer Research Program, please attend an information session in November or February. Make sure to read through all the information on this website, including the current Rules, paying special attention to all the deadlines listed in the timeline. Next, decide whether you wish to develop your own research plan, or work with a particular professor on his/her research. If you need help or advice in choosing a professor, feel free to check with any professor you know in the School.
Summer Research Program Rules 2019
Application Information and Forms:
The application consists of
- a Student Interest Form
- a completed Application Form with Budget Request
- a Faculty Recommendation Form
- the Research Proposal
The completed application is due Wednesday, March 20, 2019, by 5:00 pm. For further information contact Martha White.
You need to discuss your proposal with your mentor, so start early! For example Research Proposals, see Sample Research Proposals and Past Participants. We look forward to working with you to advance the frontiers of science.
