Affording a college education can become stressful to any student, which can affect personal relationships, the ability to concentrate on academic pursuits, and generally the opportunity to appreciate and enjoy one's college years.

Students have found value in seeking out some of the following resources for peer support, professional support and informational resources.

  • Residential Experience. Over 50% of Saint Mary's students live on campus and have access to programming through their residential staff.  You can influence what programming happens at no expense to students to build a stronger and more informed community.  Check out the link for who to contact for more information.
  • Student Organizations.
  • Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS).  CAPS is a free service to students who are experiencing stress from balancing the responsibilities of managing their academics and financing their education.  Find out more about their services here.
  • Associated Students.  The Associated Students are elected representatives of Saint Mary's students and liaisons to the campus Administration.  Find out more about student representation and student governance here.
