The San Francisco Bay Area has a broad assortment of transportation options, including BART, CalTrain, bus service and San Francisco's famed cable cars.

County Connection Bus Service

Saint Mary’s community enjoys free bus service on the local County Connection bus service. Routes originating from the Saint Mary’s campus (#6) are free; transfers to other routes are regular fare.  The  County Connection provides fixed-route and paratransit service throughout the Central Contra Costa communities of Clayton, Concord, Martinez, Pleasant Hill, Walnut Creek, Danville, San Ramon, Lafayette, Orinda, and Moraga, as well as unincorporated communities.

All 131 buses in the fixed-route fleet are fully equipped with wheelchair ramps or lifts.
Simply show your Saint Mary’s student ID card and the Bay Area is open to you. The County Connection takes you to BART and other destinations throughout central Contra Costa County.  For more information on the County Connection, routes, and time tables please visit http://www.cccta.org/.

 

Lyft Rideshare Program 

Lyft Pass helps Saint Mary's College cover all or a portion of the cost of your rides so that it's easy for you to get around. The pass will renew monthly. For more information, email the housing department: housing@stmarys-ca.edu

2 pass options: 

1st pass: 22 rides with $13 off (students without a parking permit)

2nd pass: 18 passes with $10 off (students with a parking permit)
