New student Orientation
All new students are required to attend orientation to help you successfully transition into the Saint Mary’s community. You’ll get lots of helpful information from faculty, staff, and current students, and become better acquainted with the campus.
First Year Experience
Your first year at Saint Mary’s is when you’ll lay a strong foundation for your academic and personal success—which is why you’ll find a holistic system of support from everyone in the Gael community.

Our signature first year experience program, First Year | First Six, helps you get engaged with campus events so you can start forming your own community right away.
Admitted Undergrad Students
