All payments on monthly payment plans are due on the 15th of the month. We have suspended late fees for August for traditional undergraduate students because of the recent changes to housing occupancy. Your responsibility for paying tuition is unaffected. Typically tuition is due by the beginning of each term. Payment plans facilitate your ability to defer those payments over several months. As no change to tuition has occurred, these payments remain due and payable. If a student has extenuating financial situations
that need to be addressed, the Financial Aid Office is accepting appeals at finaid@stmarys-ca.edu and the College’s Collection Specialist is available, as always, to discuss special
arrangements for payment. (Vanessa Vandiver, 925-631-4209 or vsv1@stmarys-ca.edu)The Campus Housing Office will be reducing the number of students living on campus so that every resident has their own bedroom. Students who have applied for housing and have a room assignment will NOT need to re-apply. The Campus Housing Office will email these students with additional information and instructions to confirm their continued interest in university housing for fall 2020. If you reside in university housing, there will be no credit.
For students who opt not to pursue university housing, or who do not confirm their continued interest in fall 2020 housing by August 7, 2020, will have their existing housing
contract canceled without penalty and their housing prepayment deposit will be credited to their student account. If the housing adjustment creates a credit balance and you would like a refund, please visit (https://www.stmarys-ca.edu/tuition-fees/refunds) or review the next section. If you are receiving federal financial aid that has posted and results in a credit on your account, a refund will automatically be issued to the student or parent borrower if the refund is a result of a Parent Plus Loan.
Refunds will be available starting on the first day of the fall semester. Direct Deposit (aka
eReimbursement) will be processed daily during the first two weeks of the semester. Paper
checks will be processed twice a week and mailed to the address on file. After the first two
