Tuition by Program
2024-2025 Tuition
MA Kinesiology, MFA in Dance, and MA Communication students are billed tuition per unit for each semester they are enrolled in courses. LEAP and MFA Creative Writing students are billed per term based on their course load and full time status. Tuition can be paid in full or through a monthly payment plan set up through the business office. Tuition is subject to change between cohorts and books and materials are extra.

If you haven’t already, be sure to apply for federal aid through FAFSA using SMC’s school code: 001302. We encourage all students to complete the FAFSA application as soon as possible.

Fellowships and Teaching Assistantships
Some graduate programs at the School of Liberal Arts offer teaching assistantships, fellowships and tutoring positions for those who qualify. You can apply for these by indicating that you are interested in the application. More specific information is available from each program's department.
