The Saint Mary's on-campus Free Store is a student-run and managed space located on the first floor of De La Salle Hall. The initiative provides some financial relief for our Saint Mary's community members while encouraging diversion of lightly-used, functional items from the landfill.
The Free Store is open to all students, faculty and staff, and gladly accepts donations during regular hours. Not everything is accepted at the Free Store, so make sure to check out the list of accepted items, below.

When is the Free Store open? Hours of operations are posted on Instagram and Facebook at the beginning of each semester.
What is in the Free Store? You can find a list of commonly-found goods in our store here.
Can I donate items to the Free Store? Yes, you can donate to the Free Store by making an appointment with Free Store Managers at firstname.lastname@example.org. The Store Managers will assess and accept your items if they meet the Store's guidelines. Or, if you would like to donate items after-hours, please place your lightly used, functional items in the large blue donation bin located between Ferroggiaro Hall and Mitty Residence Hall.
What items are accepted? Free Store donations must meet the following guidelines: No undergarments, no furniture, must be clean and in working condition, and must be useful to someone else.
Does the Free Store do pop-up shops? Yes, please keep an eye out on our social media pages for Pop-Up Shop announcements. If you would like to collaborate on hosting a pop-up shop for an upcoming event or festival, please contact us.
