Green Gaels
Green Gaels is a student organization dedicated to promoting climate advocacy, environmental justice, and sustainability through education, events, and programming.
We organize and participate in educational talks, outdoor activities and environmental awareness events. Past events include Ecochella, a solar-powered, environmentally conscious concert held on campus, hikes in the East Bay area, lectures, movie viewings and cleanups both on and off campus.

Garden Club
The Garden Club is a student-led, volunteer-based group that helps support the Legacy Garden through hands-on garden care, volunteer hours, and events throughout the year. Students contribute to planting, harvesting, maintenance, and other garden projects while also helping create opportunities for the broader student body to connect with the garden. Through their involvement, the Garden Club helps keep the Legacy Garden an active, welcoming space for students to learn, volunteer, and build community.

I’m a third-year Computer Science major. After taking a January Term class on flower farming and spending time in the Legacy Garden, I wanted to create a student club focused on caring for the garden and getting more students involved.

Hi! I’m a second-year student studying Environmental Science, Politics, and Media Production. I became interested in the Legacy Garden during my first year and wanted to help create more opportunities for students to connect with the space, get involved, and experience the hands-on work of the garden.
