Legacy Garden
Saint Mary’s half-acre campus garden is a living laboratory home to a diverse range of organic fruits, vegetables, flowers, herbs, fruit trees and animals. The outdoor educational space aims to foster community, enhance academic learning, promote physical and emotional health, and encourage just and sustainable agrifood systems.

The Saint Mary's on-campus Free Store is a student-run and managed space located in Assumption Hall. The initiative provides some financial relief for our Saint Mary's community members while encouraging diversion of lightly-used, functional items from the landfill.
Green Space Certification
Have you or your colleagues wanted to implement more sustainable practices in your everyday operations, but don't know where to start? Our student-run Green Space Team would love to help. Our Green Space Team is eager and ready to identify actions you can take to decrease waste, conserve resources and improve their overall environmental performance (while saving the college money!). Our student consultants provide you the necessary resources to make your office and surrounding spaces green.
