Interested in joining a student club or organization?

Joining a student organization is a great way to get connected to the Gael community. There are orgs for many different interests, and if you don't see something represented, start a club! You can find all the current clubs and their events on Presence!

Best Practices for Student Organization Advisors

  1. Uphold the mission and values of the College and organization.
  2. Represent and reinforce the rules and expectations of the College and organization.
  3. Be a mentor, provide guidance, and empower students to run their club efficiently and effectively.
  4. Create and encourage active and collaborative relationships and communication.
  5. Help with the organization's financial management and intervene when necessary.
  6. Support the events of the organization, through attendance or planning.
  7. Know of your ethical and legal responsibilities. Model ethical leadership to students.
  8. Continue to provide support to improve the organization.
