Valentine's day

Fun fact: The Roman god Cupid has his roots in Greek Mythology as the Greek god of love, Eros. Eros used golden arrows to incite love between unsuspecting lovers and leaden ones to sow aversion.

President's day

Fun fact: George Washington, known for his valor in battle and politics, had a fear of being buried alive, a problem that was seemingly too common in those days. So, upon his death he requested that his body remained unburied for at least three days to ensure that he was entering the ground officially deceased.
