Academic Support & Resources

Students can look forward to a wide array of virtual student-centered support services, leadership opportunities, activities, spiritual guidance, and career and professional development opportunities that reflect the transformative whole-person education for which Saint Mary’s is known. We have created new and reimagined ways to connect, engage, and get help: from a fully virtual Student Involvement Fair; to online tutoring, advising, and success coaching; to celebrating the faith, heritage, and culture of the Latinx community in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe; and so much more.  Visit individual program websites for specific up to date changes and requirements.

Library Services

The Library building remains closed at this time; however, the Library has a phased reopening plan. Each phase identifies services and facilities we can reopen, directed by College, local, and state COVID-19 guidelines. In preparation for your return, we have continued to develop our online services and expanded our services to include access to the library’s print collection. Access the links below to learn more.

Keep in mind that the Library’s Textbook Collection won’t be available this fall, due to quarantining protocols. Ask us if you need help figuring out whether your textbooks are available through the Library, Link+, or online sources. Due dates on library materials have been extended, and all overdue fines incurred since the library's closure will be waived. Check your SMC Library account, and chat with us if you have questions.

For more information, see SMC Library Services during COVID-19 or ask us.

Printing Services

Students have access to Cloud Print enabled printers at various locations across campus. Upload a document to Cloud Print from anywhere but wait to release it until arriving at the printer location, using a smartphone. For up-to-date information about printer location, visit the IT Services Printing Information Page. The best way to access Cloud Print is when you are on campus. Alternatively you could connect to Cloud Print via VPN (smc login required) when off campus if needed.
