Mission Statement

The Student Health Center (SHC) at Saint Mary’s College of California understands that full intellectual potential can only be achieved in a healthy body, mind, and spirit.  The SHC further recognizes that access to quality health care and social justice is inextricably interconnected.  To this end, the SHC accepts its mission to provide the students of Saint Mary’s College of California with accessible, compassionate, and confidential health care that meets the standards of an urgent care medical model. 

Furthermore, the Student Health Center will collaborate with professionals on and off campus to promote patient education and community health awareness.  We embrace the diversity of our patient population and the community we serve with respect and understanding. In doing so, the Student Health Center aims to contribute to the enhanced learning potential of students and thus further the mission of Saint Mary’s College of California.
