This table is designed to inform the community about the total number of COVID-19 cases reported during the Fall 2021 term, among its students, faculty, staff, contractors, and vendors who are on-campus or at a Saint Mary’s College off-campus facility.

These numbers represent COVID-19 confirmed cases reported to the College. In cases where a student or employee fails to disclose to the College that they have tested positive, the College will have no way of knowing and communicating that information.

Confidentiality laws prohibit the College from disclosing protected health information about affected individuals. A campus resident who has tested positive will be isolated, and anyone believed to be at risk for exposure will also be contacted by Contra Costa County Health Services and asked to self-quarantine.

Any “positives” that are later determined to be false will be subsequently removed from the dashboard as will any reconfirmed positives (i.e. member who receives a positive test result and then another positive test result fewer than 90 days from the first). Individual questions may be directed to the Health and Wellness Center (students), Human Resources (employees) or the Project Manager, Emergency Planning and Response (vendors and contractors).
