Offers you the opportunity to enhance your knowledge of student learning, as well as to deepen your understanding of contemporary issues in education. Our inquiry-based program is open to elementary, secondary, and special education teachers who have earned a California teaching credential or are qualified to teach in California.

For teachers to build capacities to lead change at their schools, in support of more equitable outcomes for their students. Learners in this program develop capacities for collaboration, facilitation, reflection, and data driven dialogue, while engaged in an action research project exploring their own classroom or school challenges. For teachers who already understand the challenges and rewards of serving students with special needs. If you would like to build upon your Saint Mary’s Education Specialist (Special Education) credential, the Master of Education in Special Education offers you the opportunity for further and more intensive learning in the field, including carrying-out an original research study.
