Finding an On-Campus Job (for Students)
Body

Saint Mary's College offers a wide variety of part-time, on-campus jobs in virtually all College offices and departments.

These jobs are provided to students currently enrolled in courses at Saint Mary's College.  Please note that students must perform all services for the college within the State of California, including any work done remotely.

Where do I find On-Campus Jobs?

Most departments post their openings on Handshake, we recommend you search there first. Career and Professional Development Services (CPDS) has more information about Handshake on their website.

Getting a Job Offer

Resume/cv requirements, procedures for interviewing and receiving a job offer may vary by department. Often, the job listing (on Handshake) will clarify the steps you need to take in these areas.

Career and Professional Development Services provides tips and tricks for interviews, resumes, cover letters and more.

Now what?

Once you have accepted a job offer, your supervisor should direct you to complete the Student New Hire Packet. This packet contains Forms I-9, W-4 and the Payroll Direct Depost Form. For download link, and more info see: Completing New-Hire Paperwork (for Students)
