Multiple Student Credential

Our teaching program is one of the most well-respected in the area, and our credentialed students are some of the most qualified educators to teach elementary public/private schools (K-5) or as a middle school teacher of core subjects in California.

Single Subject Credential

Our single subject program prepares you to become an expert in teaching your chosen subject. In just one year, our highly-respected program will prime you to meet California’s Teaching Performance Expectations, qualifying you to teach in any public or private middle school, junior high school, or high school in California.

Education Specialist (Special Education) Credential

This Mild-to-Moderate program thoroughly prepares you to teach students with exceptional needs in K-12 grade.

Preliminary Administrative Services Credential

Applicable for TK-12 grades and adult school teachers and counselors, this program helps to train and prepare skilled administrators in California schools.

Post-Master's, School Counseling Pupil Personnel Services Credential-Only

(SC PPSC-Only) this program is designed for professionals who already hold a clinically-based master's degree (such as clinical psychology, counseling, or social work) and are returning to earn the mandatory state credential to work in K-12 grade in California public schools as academic and social-emotional counselors.

Post-Master's, School Psychology Pupil Personnel Services Credential-Only

(SP PPSC-Only) this program is for professionals who already hold a clinically-based master's degree and are returning to earn the mandatory state credential to work in K-12 grade in California public schools as school psychologists.

Master of Arts in Counseling

Master of Arts in Leadership

For those in any career field seeking to develop their capacity and ability to work with complex challenges within their organization or community.

Master of Arts in Teaching

Offers you the opportunity to enhance your knowledge of student learning, as well as to deepen your understanding of contemporary issues in education. Our inquiry-based program is open to elementary, secondary, and special education teachers who have earned a California teaching credential or are qualified to teach in California.

Master of Arts in Teaching Leadership

For teachers to develop as teacher leaders in their classrooms, schools, and communities. This innovative program is a graduate degree designed to build teachers’ capacities to lead change at their schools, in support of more equitable outcomes for their students. Learners in this program develop capacities for collaboration, facilitation, reflection, and data driven dialogue, while engaged in an action research project exploring their own classroom or school challenges. Master of Education in Special Education

For teachers who, already understand the challenges and rewards of serving students with special needs. If you would like to build upon your Saint Mary’s Education Specialist credential, the Master of Education in Special Education offers you the opportunity for further and more intensive learning in the field, including carrying-out an original research study.

Doctorate in Educational Leadership (Ed.D.)
