Guyette Leadership Fellows
Developing Leaders for the Future
The Guyette Leadership Fellows program was started in February 2014 to develop the next generation of business leaders for a changing world. Leadership Fellows are selected by a competitive process. In its inaugural class, seven students were chosen based not only on accomplishments, but also leadership potential.
The aim of the program is to provide the select group of students with access to industry-knowledge and experiences to cultivate their leadership development. The students are led by Nancy Lam, Ph.D., a professor in the School of Economics and Business Administration.
As part of the program, Fellows meet with a variety of seasoned professionals and industry leaders, including Jim Guyette, the former President and CEO of Rolls-Royce North America, and executives from Apple, PBS, and Bank of America. Leadership Fellows are also part of the Dean's Undergraduate SEBA Advisory Council and receive explicit recognitions as Leadership Fellows at SEBA and College events, as well as a Leadership Fellow Certificate after finishing the Program successfully.

Mitchell Larrieta Angeles
Guyette Fellow
Major: Finance / Minor: Marketing
Academic Year: Junior
Mitchell is a third-year Finance major and Marketing minor from Oakland, CA. He serves as a Lead Peer Mentor for the High Potential Program, a Student Ambassador, and Director of Outreach for the American Marketing Association (AMA) chapter at Saint Mary’s, and he’s a member of the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA). This past summer, Mitchell interned at Penserra, where he rotated through nine divisions, from equity trading and fixed income to investment banking, wealth management, and ETFs, gaining a well-rounded view of how a securities firm operates. Through his roles, he has built strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. He seeks opportunities related to Finance, Marketing, or Entrepreneurship. As a runner, Mitchell aspires to one day launch his own running-related business.
McKenna Diaz

Academic Year: Junior
McKenna Diaz is a third year Accounting major and Management & Leadership minor. She recently interned with Foci Wealth Management at Ameriprise Financial, where she gained hands-on experience in client relations and developed a deeper understanding of the financial services industry. Outside of her academic and professional pursuits, McKenna runs her own floral design business, combining her creativity and business skills to create custom arrangements for special occasions. Through her experiences, she continues to develop her leadership, communication, and business skills. McKenna is passionate about accounting, entrepreneurship, and event planning, with the goal of launching her own wedding planning company and building a career that brings together business, creativity, and meaningful client experiences.
Camila Espinoza

Academic Year: Senior
Camila Espinoza is a fourth-year student from Visalia, California that is pursuing a major in Accounting and participating in the Honors Program. She serves as Chief of Staff for ALPFA, VP of Finance for Gael Women in Business, and Administration and Finance Coordinator for the Residential Hall Association. Her experience spans tax, financial analysis, and business operations. She has gained hands-on tax experience over two tax seasons at a local accounting firm in the Central Valley and most recently completed a summer internship with Setton Pistachio of Terra Bella, where she strengthened her analytical and accounting skills. She is currently serving as a Finance Intern with Monument Crisis Center in Concord, gaining experience in nonprofit accounting and financial operations.
Camila is passionate about leadership, accounting, and entrepreneurship, she plans to pursue her CPA and begin a career in public accounting after graduation. Her long-term goal is to apply her experience to business ownership and eventually open her own coffee shop.
Elizabeth Hansen

Academic Year: Sophomore
Elizabeth Hansen is a sophomore at Saint Mary’s College of California pursuing a double major in Accounting and Mathematics from Yuba City, CA. She is the current Marketing Coordinator for the Student Coalition Against Abuse and Rape (SCAAR) and is hoping to be active in several other organizations on campus. Currently, Elizabeth is an IT Service Intern for Saint Mary’s and enjoys spending time helping the theatre department by assisting with props. In the past, she has completed an internship with her local theatre company, Center Stage Productions in Yuba City. Although Elizabeth is only recently diving into the business world, she has experience in fast-paced, stressful environments and solving problems as they arise. She seeks a career related to accounting or mathematics and is open to any opportunities in various fields that may come her way.
Ellie Keating

Ellie is a senior Business Administration student from Truckee, CA. She is passionate about community involvement, marketing, and bridging creativity with commerce. Her current roles include being a Major Events Coordinator on campus, teaching yoga at the campus recreation center, and working as a stylist in downtown Walnut Creek. She recently completed an internship with Farinella Marketing Agency in Emeryville, CA. Ellie has a diverse background in the fashion and music industry and embraces any opportunity to gain experience in various business fields.
Eleanor Krivenko

Minor: East Asian Studies
Academic Year: Sophomore
Eleanor Krivenko is a second year at Saint Mary's majoring in Data Science and Business Analytics and minoring in East Asian Studies. On campus, she serves as Vice President of the Data Science Club, a Peer Mentor supporting first-year students in their academic and social transitions to college, and a teaching assistant for Japanese language classes. Outside of school, she works as a Data Entry Specialist at Fiduciary Accounting Services LLC. She has also earned a user experience certification and hopes to explore opportunities in data science, business analytics, and user experience while pursuing her interest in Japanese language and culture through studying abroad in Japan.
Sonia Lakshmanan

Academic Year: Senior
Sonia Lakshmanan is a senior at Saint Mary's College of California, pursuing a double major in Economics and Data Science. She is President of the Data Science Club and active in several academic and leadership organizations. This past summer, she worked as a National Operations Intern at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, and she is currently conducting research with the Contra Costa Economic Partnership on how energy-intensive land uses affect the local labor market. Sonia has experience in research, analytics, and mentorship, and is passionate about applying data-driven insights to solve real-world problems. She aspires to pursue a career that combines economics, technology, and strategy in a dynamic and innovative environment.
Bianca Lewis

Academic Year: Junior
Bianca Lewis is a Finance major at Saint Mary's College of California and President of the Finance, Investments, and Real Estate (FIRE) Club, where she leads event coordination and initiatives that expand real estate programming and connect students to careers in finance and real estate. Recent work includes organizing "Breaking Into Commercial Real Estate," an IREM panel held via Zoom.
Professionally, Bianca is a licensed Real Estate Assistant at Village Associates Real Estate, where she supports agents Hillary Murphy and Shannon Connor across transactions, marketing, and client relations. She manages listing coordination and vendor communications across multiple active properties in the Lamorinda area, handles disclosure package review, and creates listing social media content. She previously interned with the Desiree Bilich Team at Keller Williams Residential Real Estate, gaining hands-on experience with open houses, market analyses, and community outreach.
Daniele MacDonald

Academic Year: Senior
Daniele Macdonald is from Boise, Idaho and is a fourth-year student double majoring in Management & Leadership and Justice, Community & Leadership with a Leadership concentration. On campus, she serves as a Resident Advisor and Study Abroad Representative. Outside of school, Daniele works as a nanny and volunteers as a High School Girl's Leader at her church. She enjoys connecting with others and meeting new people through a variety of social settings. This past summer, she spent seven weeks in Madrid, Spain, completing an internship with HR Talent Alliance. Daniele will return to her new favorite city to pursue a dual master’s degree at IE Madrid in International MBA and HR Talent Development. She is also the founder of The Local Sitters Network, a small business that connects parents with qualified sitters to make the childcare hiring process easier for families seeking dependable support.
Armaan Sidhu

Academic Year: Senior
Armaan Sidhu is a fourth-year Accounting and Finance student at Saint Mary's. He serves as a Print Shop Assistant on campus and is actively involved in the Finance, Investments, and Real Estate (FIRE) Club, where he resides as the President of the Investments Sector, helping to manage the school's Responsible Endowment Fund valued at $300,000. Armaan has also gained professional experience as an intern with Withum for two tax seasons in San Francisco. Through these experiences, he continues to build his skills as a collaborative leader dedicated to serving the Saint Mary's community and advancing in the accounting profession.
Angelina Stephens

Academic Year: Senior
Angelina Stephens is a senior at Saint Mary’s College of California, majoring in Economics with a minor in Mathematics. As a student worker in the Office of Community Life, she supports the Essential Needs Program in many ways and even developed a Student Financial Wellness Toolkit with University Credit Union. She is a member of the National Champion Debate Club, where she received a National Topic Speaker award, and is active in the Economics Club and Gael Women in Business. Off campus, she interned at a mortgage company and is now preparing for the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator exam. She has also organized community events at a nonprofit that fosters inclusivity and engagement for adults with developmental disabilities. Angelina is excited to combine her quantitative skills with her passion for helping people through a career in finance.
